Coastal Farm in Canterbury pasture their hens in small flocks. Free range hen and duck eggs.

All our cheeses are English, even our Halloumi and Feta which are made at Kupros Dairy in London.

Our bread is organic and handmade by Tobi at Slowbread whose bakery is a few yards away from the restaurant. He is also Whitstable’s community beekeeper and producer of fine honey.

We used to make our own curry ketchup until one of our good friends and ex chefs, Mark Winter developed his own, Carrington’s Chillicup which he produces in Faversham.

Wine:

About a quarter of our wine list is English.

Chapel Down: Leading English Winery, official supplier of 10 Downing St, the Royal Opera House and the Boat Race. We stock three of their whites along with the Brut (made using the same method as Champagne) and the Rose, all made from grapes grown in the south east.

Page and Sons: Over 200 year old wine merchants in Ramsgate.

We have a longstanding relationship with our dear friend Clive Barlow, MW (Master of Wine) of Press Wine Services. Look out for his input at our wine nights.

Cider and Beer:

Cider from Biddenden, Ashford.

Curious Beers and Ciders (also from Chapel Down) made with local hops, champagne yeast and Kentish apples.

Boutilliers Beer: Modern, seasonal ales that celebrate the wonderful produce available throughout the year. The brewery sits in the heart of the Macknade Fine Food site in Faversham, in the old Hop Shed.

Tea and Coffee:

Coffee: Garage Roasted in Canterbury, sourced from the top 10% of coffee farms globally, roasted in a shed in the Kent countryside.

Debonair Tea are a husband and wife team juggling a dog, a baby and a converted 1968 Bedford Tea van while blending excellent brews (the only tea we stock) down the road in Hythe
